Leveling Clips: These are small plastic clips that are inserted between the tiles' edges. They create a uniform spacing and hold the tiles at an even height, ensuring that they are level and flat.

Wedges: Wedges are used in conjunction with the leveling clips. They are inserted into the clips and tightened to apply pressure, which levels the tiles and keeps them in place until the adhesive sets.

Pliers or Tile Leveling Tool: A specialized tool is used to insert the clips and tighten the wedges. It makes the process faster and more efficient.

The tile leveling system is typically used during the tile installation process. Here's a general overview of how it is used:

Apply adhesive to the substrate and comb it using a notched trowel.

Place the first tile onto the adhesive and press it down firmly.

Insert a leveling clip into the gap between the first and second tile, ensuring it sits below the upper tile's surface.

Slide the wedge into the leveling clip and use the pliers or tile leveling tool to tighten it, applying pressure.

Continue installing tiles, inserting leveling clips and wedges at regular intervals along the tile joints.

Once the adhesive has set, typically after 24 hours, remove the wedges by kicking or striking them gently with a rubber mallet.

The leveling clips can be left in place or removed by kicking them at a 45-degree angle.

Tile leveling systems help achieve a consistent tile surface, minimize lippage, and make the grouting process easier. They are particularly useful for large format tiles, rectified tiles, or tiles with minimal grout lines.
